Día de los Muertos

Here is a warm up painting I did based on the Spanish day of the dead. It's pretty cool to have several days where you celebrate those who have passed on. Being all sad is over rated, might as well party it up! They get to wear some awesome make up and costumes to boot! Another experience to add to my bucket list.

Return of the Studies

I realized it's been almost an eternity since I've done any studies, time to bring em back! This one is an hour, not too happy with it and definitely realized I could do with a more efficient approach. More practice is needed!

Dragon rawr!

Here is a concept for a story I'm creating that I hope to someday bring to the big screen! Here are two different versions, one with slightly more intense colors and contrast. I feel like all of my paintings are missing something, but just can't put my finger on what it is at this point...very elusive >=( Hope everyone has a great reading week and gets to relax a bit before the last stretch.
